Help needed – Junior Canteen Convenor

Hello Everyone

Your Club needs someone (or a couple of people) to take on the role of Junior Canteen Convenor for the 2017 Season.

This role is very important on home games days when we’re required to run a canteen.

The role involves stocking the canteen prior to junior  home games (of which we have about 7 or 8 over the season), being on hand on junior home game days to help with cooking, and making sure things are clean and tidy at the end of the day. We have a volunteer co-ordinator this year to ensure you are ably assisted by a flock of willing volunteers throughout the day.

If you are interested in contributing to your club in this way, we would love to hear from you. Our senior canteen convenor is Melinda Dick who has been doing this for many years and is a wealth of knowledge and assistance – she can answer any questions you have or offer suggestions as to how it might best work if there are a couple of you who could do it as a joint effort.

Please consider taking on this key role for 2017.
